She has worked as a newspaper reporter\, trade association writer\, legal investigator\, defense attorney\, federal prosecutor\, law editor and\, for more than 20 years before her retirement in 2014\, was an adjunct member of the faculty at Rutgers Law School.

DESCRIPTION:Topic: The Battle of New Orleans and the Veterans Who Came to Texas \n\n\n\nMajor General Andrew Jackson owed Britian a debt of retaliatory vengeance fromhis imprisonment during the Revolutionary War. He vowed that should our forcesmeet\, he would pay the debt. On 8 January 1815\, Jackson’s army regulars\, frontiermilitiamen\, free blacks\, New Orleans aristocrats\, Choctaw tribesmen and the piratesled by Jean Lafitte numbered 4500. They presented the British with an unexpectedonslaught which was the fruit of an honorable union and defeated the invaders in aspan of 30 minutes with a glorious victory.
