Part of the mission of the Dallas Genealogical Society is to collect, preserve, copy, and index information relating to Dallas County and its early history and to make that information available to the public. One of the ways that we accomplish that goal is by making information freely available on this website. Anybody can access our cemetery information, local records, view archived copies of our Newsletters and Journals and access the information in our Surname Registry.
We also conduct monthly meetings that include an educational presentation and have several active Special Interest Groups and all of these activities are free and open to the public. Our members frequently make presentations other organizations and institutions throughout the Dallas area.
