DNA Workshop was a success!

78 people registered to participate in our “You Have Your Ancestry.com DNA Results: Now What?” workshop held on June 8. 33 participated in-person at the library, and the others participated virtually via Zoom. In a first for this type of event we had a remote location: 12 members of the Robson Ranch Genealogy Club participated from a facility at their location.

Barbara Coakley and Tony Hanson presented four sessions: the feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive.

As usual, we had a lot of volunteers who worked to make the event a success: Ken Jonston (artwork), Sharon Bowles (Registration & Marketing), Betty Case (Hospitality), Kim Edge (Tech Team & Catering), Todd DeDecker (Tech Team), Paul Feather (Zoom Q&A Manager), (Barbara Ware & Lisa Stevenson (1:00 session Zoom DNA Managers) and Mic Barnett – 1:00 library Zoom DNA Manager).
