Join us for a short business meeting followed by a Presentation by Candice Buchanan from the Library of Congress.
“Local History & Genealogy Research at the Library of Congress” – This presentation highlights the collections, services, and resources available at the Library of Congress that may assist researchers interested in conducting genealogical research. Including the size of our collections, a brief history, basic genealogical research methods, how to search our online catalog, and digital collections available from home.
If Covid-19 restrictions permit it we will be meeting in person at the Dallas Public Library. We will be serving light refreshments beginning at 10:30 am.
