June 27 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
In-person Only
Step back into the vibrant world of Revolutionary-era America—where powdered wigs meet pounding drums, minuets mingle with hip-hop remixes and history is for everyone.
The Liberty & Lace Ball honors the first bold steps toward independence—personal, cultural and national—while recognizing that freedom in 1776 was not yet a reality for all. In the grand tradition of Revolutionary-era gatherings, guests are invited to celebrate progress, express their unique heritage and dance in the enduring pursuit of liberty for everyone.
Throughout the evening, enjoy live music and dance, hands-on creative experiences and opportunities to connect with the past in ways that feel fresh, social and fun. Try your hand at period-inspired crafts, browse artisan goods, strike a pose at our photo backdrop or add your voice to our interactive “Declare Your Liberty” installation—where modern reflections meet the enduring words of the Declaration of Independence.
Whether you come in full costume or just as you are, no experience is needed!
Because while the ideals of liberty were revolutionary, their promise was incomplete. This evening invites you to celebrate those ideals—and reflect on how they continue to evolve today.
This event is 18+ only. A Government-issued ID is needed for a drink ticket; IDs will be checked at the door. Please register for a reminder email and to help our event organizers plan.
