It’s time for the last Quarterly HOGAR Zoom Meeting in 2020. Since we can’t meet in person this year, we invite you to share in the Christmas spirit and wear your special Christmas attire for this meeting.

The short business meeting begins at 2:00 and will be followed by our featured speaker, Alex Mendoza, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, History Department, University of North Texas. His areas of expertise are the 19th century American Military and the Tejano (Mexican Texans) Military experience. His presentation is entitled: “For Patriotism, For Gratitude, For Our Own Best Interests”: Tejanos and the Turning Point of World War I. Let’s have some fun with Christmas colors, ugly sweaters, Santa hats, or Rudolph neckties, etc. After the end of the meeting, we will raffle several gift cards to those attending this virtual meeting. It’s not necessary to be a member to win a gift card.
