Putting Your Ancestors in Context

Since there is much more to your Family History than names, dates and places, using other sources can help you tell a more complete story of your Ancestors’ lives. Join the Mesquite Historical and Genealogical Society on Thursday, October 10th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mesquite Main Library as Barbara Coakley, genealogist and teacher, shows us how to find and use these sources to expand your family’s story, making it a more detailed picture of their lives. Barbara has been researching her family history for over 30 years. She is Vice President of Genealogy Friends of Plano Libraries and has taught genealogy classes at Collin College since 2008. Everyone is invited and welcome. You do not have to be a member to attend. Come early for visiting and refreshments.
