Mesquite Historical and Genealogical Society announces its Annual Workshop on Saturday, June 9th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Mesquite Arts Center. Randy Whited, an avid researcher who works for state and national genealogy societies, will present four programs.

Writing your Family History for Others will provide expert advice on how to organize, write and present your family history. Join authors and editors Ed Millis, Shirley Sloat and Becky Villareal as they share their family history writing experiences and provide insight into how they made their family histories come alive.
