The focus of this group is Germans who emigrated to various parts of the United States from the 1700’s through the 1900’s.
The DNA Special Interest Group explores the use of DNA as a genealogical tool. The goal is to help individuals understand and incorporate current DNA testing strategies and standards into their personal genealogy. Meeting are open to all.
This will be a Hybrid meeting: You can join us in-person at the Library or you can participate remotely using Zoom.
Genealogy can be an expensive habit. Between subscription costs, DNA tests, and all of those miscellaneous costs like costs of copies and printouts and potential travel costs, it can be unsustainable for most of us at an individual level. Harness the power of free and open access resources to stretch your dollar, while doing your genealogy and family history research!
