Now part of Hillcrest Mausoleum and Memorial Park, Caruth Pioneer Cemetery is located on the north side of Northwest Hwy between Hillcrest and Boedecker.  This cemetery has been published three times by members of the Dallas Genealogical Society.  The first publication was in 1948 by Willie Flowers Carlisle in Old Cemeteries of Dallas County. Information was later published in the Quarterly of the Local History and Genealogical Society, September 1964. Most recently it was published in Dallas County Texas: Genealogical Data from Early Cemeteries, Volume I in 1982 when the cemetery was resurveyed. The listing has been updated with the addition of few recent burials of Caruth family members and data from death certificates.
