The RootsMagic SIG offers group discussion and sharing of information on getting the most out of the RootsMagic genealogy software running on PCs (Windows) and the Mac. The goal is to help each other utilize the software to the fullest extent.

2022 Plan
I will be working a family line in a separate database to cumulate of the first five sessions of the year and in December merge that database with a bigger one to show how to do a merge, and then the cleanup required after a merge. This is to show that you don’t have to:
- Work in the same database for everything
- Don’t add misc information to your verified database so you don’t have to delete stuff
We will also cover unlinking and fixing relationships, adding second spouses and families. Things that happen when doing research.
The sessions will cover using ancestry, familysearch, bureau of land management, fold3, some state archives and libraries and maybe find my past and my heritage.
