DGS member Patricia Law Hatcher, CG, FASG, has written many articles and books on genealogy. Between 2000 and 2006, Pat wrote a series articles for Ancestry Daily News. The articles deal with methodology, sources, colonial life, problem solving, and adventures encountered in research. The subjects of the columns, taken as a whole, demonstrate what genealogy and family history is and should be about.
She has reformatted the articles into one-page pdf versions for publishing on the DGS website. These may be read online or downloaded and printed.
