President’s Message: Thanksgiving Season

President’s Message: Thanksgiving Season

by Tony Hanson

Thanksgiving is traditionally a holiday shared with family and friends, and many of us will be traveling to be with the ones we love. Wherever you are, I hope that you and your family are having a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

This year our organization has a lot to be thankful for. We had a couple of unexpected resignations, but we have also had several people step forward to accept the challenges of leadership:

  • Barbara Coakley has resigned as the Director of Volunteer Coordinator to accept the position of Seminar Administrator.
  • Melissa Fleming, who has been an active member of our Technology Team, has agreed to step into the Director of Information Technology position.
  • Pat Hernandez, who has been assisting with our Marketing efforts, has agreed to become our Director of Volunteer Coordination.

I am grateful to Barbara, Melissa and Pat for volunteering, and look forward to working with them to make great things happen for our society.
