TxSGS Awards Received by DGS
The Texas State Genealogical Society presented several notable awards at their November 15 Annual meeting.
The Dallas Genealogical Society was the 1st place winner in the “Blogs by a Partner Society” category. The posts were created by the newsletter committee consisting of Michelle Dwyer Cohen, Jo Ann Graham, Suzan Younger, Barbara Ware, Patricia Hernandez, and Susan Chance-Rainwater.
Sharon Bowles, DGS Vice President, was recognized as the TxSGS Volunteer of the Year based on her service to the Dallas Genealogical Society, the Dallas Public Library, to the Community and for the quality of her genealogical research.
