Website Access Changes

Due to recent technical issues, the Dallas Genealogical Society has updated the way members access members-only materials on our website. The following activities are unchanged:

• Accessing public information on the DGS website (https://dallasgenealogy.org)
  • No username or password is required.
    
• Creating or renewing your membership or registering for events through the DGS Account Manager
  • Continue using your individual DGS Account UserID and Password:
  • https://dgs.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/dgs/login.jsp

While most information on our website is publicly available, some materials remain restricted to current DGS members, including:

• Keyword-searchable PDF versions of every Newsletter, Quarterly, and Journal published by DGS
  
• Recordings of General Meeting presentations (when presenters request restricted access)

What Has Changed?

Previously, members accessed these restricted materials using the same credentials used for the DGS Account Manager. This is no longer the case. Members-only website content is now accessed using a shared username and password, with the password updated quarterly.

You can obtain the current password using either of the methods below.

Option 1: From the DGS Website

• Visit https://dallasgenealogy.org
• From the Membership menu, select Member-only content > Get DGS Member Username and Password
• Log in using your DGS Account UserID and Password

Option 2: From the DGS Account Manager

• Log in to the Account Manager: https://dgs.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/dgs/login.jsp
• Use your DGS Account UserID and Password
• Select “DGS Website Username and Password” from the “What would you like
  to do?” menu

Both options will take you to the DGS Website Access Information page, where the current password will be displayed.

• Record the password
• Return to the members-only login page using the provided link
• Log in using the username dgsmember and the current password

Remember, the DGS Website Username (dgsmember) will not change. However, the DGS Website Password will change quarterly. This means you will have to get the new password using either option above.
